I’m sorry it’s been a few months since I’ve done an outfit post… I know you’ve been missing my mush (don’t lie)! Since then I put blonde in my hair, it’s got a hella lot closer to Christmas and I’ve decided to write about feminism on my blog.

I had big plans this weekend – and then it rained. I don’t have any good places in my house to take photos inside, so, I did one outfit shoot instead of the many I had wanted to. It was chilly and rainy, so I brought my brolly along too.

This outfit is kind of inspired by Emma at Emma Inks. She posted a photo of an outfit that wasn’t comprised of anything new, and it made me realise that my blog isn’t supposed to be a catalogue of things that you can buy, it’s supposed to be about my personal style. So here we are!

The jacket is one I’ve had for a few years, but it’s standing me in good stead. Though I will confess to putting my arm through the lining of the sleeve and wondering why my hand wasn’t coming out the end. Like I’ve said before, I have a habit of wearing things until they literally fall apart, and I’m a little bit scared that’s what’s happening to my beloved jacket.

I think most people have items in their wardrobe that stay there a long time, and as long as you still wear it regularly, and you still love it, there’s no need to throw stuff out just because it’s not new!

Do you wear things until they fall apart?
