Greetings, witches!

This post is kind of all about pushing the boundaries of your personal comfort zone. Most of the time I feel like I live in my comfort zone. It is lovely here. Cushty.

It’s easy to fall into a routine. I go to work, I come home. I eat some potatoes, I eat some bread (#carbqueen). I do a bit of blogging, I do a bit of instagramming. And so it goes. And doing things that are different become hard to do.

But when Scaredy Pants got in touch to send me some of their items, I had to make a decision. Do I sit in my comfort zone and pickle myself in the smugness of my same old decisions or do I do something I’ve never really done before?

Okay so getting my legs out on the Internet isn’t the most shocking thing ever, and it might not seem like a big deal to most, but for me it was a little bit nerve-wracking. In general I would say I am pretty comfortable with my body – but that doesn’t mean that prancing around in my pants on the internet is easy for me.ย I got in the swing of things though. I was in the comfort of my own, shiny new house (there’s a post on that coming your way soon, I promise) and with Mark being incredible behind the camera, it very quickly became an extension of my comfort zone! I’ve realised that pushing your own boundaries can be fun – especially when it comes to something you love. Fashion and blogging is definitely something I love and I do end up having fun whenever I do something I wouldn’t normally!

I hope that you notice and appreciate that I shaved my legs for you, guys. Irl I don’t really shave my legs at all. I’ve had friends offer to do it for me, they’ve been that hairy. I think it had been about 6 months since I had last shaved them, so you can imagine what that was like. It’s not me being a hairy feminist, I’m just a bit lazy. Sure, I feel “sexier” with smooth legs but can I be arsed to do it and is it worth the upkeep? Nah.

Anyway, once I had de-fuzzed I got into me skivvies – these lovely knickers and vest from Scaredy Pants. They very kindly sent me a set of the bat bikini and vest/dress and an eye bikini knicker. As you may know, I have a thing for eyes, so when I saw the pants I absolutely had to have them. They’re super comfy and cute and kind of hilarious and I couldn’t help but feel cute in them too.

What do you think? When was the last time you got the hell out of your comfort zone and had fun with it?
